Visuals of sound pieces of mind unite higher vibrations, some call this divine energy or the wave some see these shapes as cymatics. Since I was younger my relationship with sound, and my father have always been in unity. This illustration is an expression of art silence and understanding a tribute to his fight to stay alive. He was also a lover of the vibrations that influence the way we listen and interpret sound. Until his last days several of his favorite sounds make us who we are today! Smooth Mike enjoyed listening to all types of oldies. The sound of the synthesizer was one of his favorite instruments, frequently I listen to, Let’s Groove, by Earth, Wind, and Fire, when you hear it repeat it!

The great thing about poetry is it compliments emotion and provokes sound, I recited a lot of Langston Hughes poems growing up as a kid, artistry in quotes. My love of images began when I was an infant. My mother, a collector of art, tells the story of when she gave me a book of Picasso’s paintings and sketches, I could identify an ear, eye, nose, and a smile in all of his abstract configurations. As a youngster, I was awe of the pictures inside the cassette tape as I was the music. The early exposure to art, has fueled my lifelong interests in fashion, travel, lifestyle and photo journalism. My ability to style, create and capture the beauty in life comes from over a decade of visual adventures.

My passion for imagery has always been based off the images and the feelings that they incite, the things they remind us of and the possibilities they ignite. My first creative camera was my iPhone, technology of the present with capabilities that would change the future. I captured the image, edited it, and shared it with a few flicks of the fingers, and thumbs-Instant art, instant inspiration! Now, my equipment is more advanced, but what remains the same is my goal to capture each unique moment in its rawest form. The mission is accomplished when the viewer feels the moment as they see it. I endeavor to provide a unique high quality customer experience.
